Community Center & Wellness Center in West Linn, OR

Rooted in compassion and community, The Gathering Place is a modern-day sanctuarya Circle of Health and Healing where people from all walks of life are invited to step in at the point that meets their needs.

Whether you’re exploring something new or seeking deeper support, our classes and offerings—such as yoga, meditation, workshops, and nutrition support—are here to nourish your whole self. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation, but in the presence of connection, care, and shared experience.

Our Mission

  • We are a gathering space for people of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs to come together in community. Every individual is both beautifully unique and deeply interconnected, and our commitment is to offer a place where all are welcome to find common ground, meaningful support, and healing.

  • Our center hosts nine wellness practitioners who offer holistic services to the broader public—creating an affordable and inclusive environment for those seeking care. We also provide community space for accessible workshops, wellness circles, community classes, and special events designed to nurture emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.

  • Alongside our community space, we collaborate with nonprofit partners who share our mission of service and compassion. Together, we help provide clothing and toys to over 100 individuals during the holidays, serve home-cooked meals to over 90 unhoused men each month, and support a local food bank that reaches 300–400 people weekly. These partnerships allow us to extend our impact and uplift the essential work being done throughout our wider community.

  • Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and the support of generous donors, we’re weaving a tapestry of care—one gathering at a time.

Gathering is more than sharing time...

It’s weaving healing into hearts looking for connection. With each small gesture, we plant seeds of wisdom and self-discovery, creating spaces of compassion and care. Healing is not found in isolation but in the embrace of community, where everyone is honored, and our presence becomes the greatest gift. Together, we create potent spaces for growth and transformation.

Ways to Get Involved

Healing begins when people come together to care for one another. We're honored to collaborate with local organizations making a real difference in the lives of our community. Together, we create lasting change—ensuring everyone feels seen, valued, and deeply cared for.

Over 30 years ago, we began dropping off warm, home-cooked meals for men experiencing homelessness each month. We’re proud to be one of Transition Projects’ longest-standing partners and to receive their appreciation.

Join us in providing personal care items like shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, and wrapped bars of soap to the pantry. These everyday essentials mean so much to families facing difficult choices between basic needs.

Donation drop-offs are welcome Monday through Thursday in the bin located on our front porch. Pickups take place on the last Tuesday of each month.

Brighten the holidays by donating new toys and gifts for children and families at local schools and served by Head Start Clackamas, foster homes, and local schools. Together, we have been bringing joy and dignity to 60-75 children each year during the holiday season.

Volunteer your time with us at an upcoming event hosted by The Gathering Place. Whether a community service gathering, healing arts faire or social gathering, many hands make light work (and happy hearts).
